Meet our team at MEDICA 2019

Date: 10/29/2019

We are proud to participate once again the world’s largest event for the medical sector – MEDICA 2019 – from November 18th to November 21st in Düsseldorf, Germany.

We’ll be at MEDICA 2019 to talk about how we’re helping medical device companies bring to market new products to Brazil, and discuss the key areas of opportunity that exist today in the Brazilian Market.

Brazil is the largest healthcare market in Latin America and spends 9.1 percent of its GDP in healthcare. For medical devices, the market size is approximately $10.5 billion. The consumption of healthcare products increased 13.3 percent in 2018 (Source: ABIMED). Approximately 80% of all medical products used in Brazilian hospitals are estimated to be imported.

The Brazilian Market holds good opportunities for foreign manufacturers, but it is important to be fully prepared. Our clients are challenged with:

· Understanding the rather complex Brazilian Regulatory System

· Knowing the paths a product will face entering the Brazilian market, as well as timetables and costs

· Managing costs of having an office in Brazil and/or finding the right holder for your Registry

· Developing a robust, secure technical dossier to comply with Brazilian Regulatory bodies

· A lack of expertise in addressing compliance

If these challenges ring a bell, we’d love to chat about how you’re solving them.

We look forward to meeting you.
